Yep, it's started ha. Dairy lad near me is knocking heavy covers today for bales. It was grazed all reddy and has come back nicely. He always has a power of grass to be fair. Didn't think I'd see and done in April this year! Got half my cows out yesterday. Amazing what a bit of sun and seeing a lad knock silage can lift your mood. Anyone else close to knocking some? Only starting to graze mine now ha

It all depends on growth and drying in the next 2 weeks for me. One field is wet in a good year so just will have to see how it pans out. The other field was grazed with weanlings late last year so clean enough grass on it and has gotten a bag of urea so may just top it up with a bag of asn and cut in may. Still backfencing and messing so need ground to dry out a good bit before making a call on it as cows may graze some of it yet
