    Just serviced

    I doubt that....you would probably get two of them for that (or close).

    Agree. Between high tax and insurance companies not insuring them values have dropped.
    A friend was offered 8k in a trade of a seat toledo diesel lately 151

    The sad thing is these types of cars are worth more from 'scrappage' than actual value.
    A member of the family was changing her car last year. Got as much for scrapping a 98 petrol carolla as for a 08 diesel carolla

    The tax really is the killer on it. It's actually alright on petrol as long as you dont floor it, did a long journey in it recently and got 46mpg. Great craic if you do floor it though! I'd be very happy to get 2500 - 3000. Paid significantly less for it but he was stuck for cash and I got a great deal.
