    Hey Folks,
I was planning to clean fuel injectors for my 15 years old car to make sure not any clogs could build up. Could ye suggest me a best way to do ? Using an additive and pour into the petrol tank or should mechanically clean the injectors?

I only ever used additives for that, but of course you can remove them and do it manually.
What car is it? It will help us decide on effort involved.

Thanks Biko. It is a Corolla 2004. Do you think an additives might work? I was wondering it would affect lamda sensors when use additives.

There is a big debate whether additives work or not, and which ones do.
I suggest you check some videos on youtube, do some googling, and make your own mind up :)
Other will be along with their opinions too.

I've used additives in the past and TBH I cant say I noticed any difference afterwards, i think al lot of them are gimmicks. I'd say the only proper way to clean them is to remove them and get them cleaned ultrasonically.

This is the only way to actually properly clean them.

If this case, I would need to see a mechanics as he might have a special equipment to clean. Would you suggest me a cost for labor +.. etc ?

No "normal" mechanic will have the equipment for testing/cleaning the injectors.

What kind of car is it?

Are you experiencing any running issues?

Yip, the car vibrates and the second spark plug is wet with fuel. I did a spark test for this spark plug and it is fine so that I thought a partly clogged injector could be an issue.

You can take out the injectors and using some clips and rubber/silicon hoses connect a bottle of fuel system spray cleaner to them. a 12 volt battery wired to a switch can be used to cycle the injector. You can connect the bottle in reverse as well to clean from that side.
Wear protection on hands and eyes.
