    Such a weird decision, maybe I'm missing something obvious but 'Blackhawk' seems far, far down the list of films DC / general superhero fans would be clamouring to see.

    Well its just safe for him to do Blackhawk i guess, its in the WWII era, which he has dipped his toe into before and now he can do OTT dogfights in the sky and tick off the comic book box on his types of movies done :D
