Corporate law or commerce?

    Hi guys,

I'm currently torn between studying business or law. Has anyone here done either of these courses? If so I'd really appreciate it if you shared your experience of it (pros, cons etc)

I'm currently leaning more towards corporate law, however, I have only received mediocre feedback on the content of the course (complaints of LLB). This may be outdated information though so it would be much appreciated if you shared your own experience!

    Thanks in advance!

I'm a Corp Law grad from many moons ago. I'd still recommend it tbh: it's a versatile degree that keeps options open for later. For instance, classmates of mine who ended up more interested in business subjects took appropriate streams for working in accountancy, tax, and more general business areas. Others became solicitors or barristers with the addition of the LLB top-up (that ensures you have all the mandatory subjects required by those professions). You're also free to apply for business postgrads if that appeals to you then.

Thanks for your reply Mike! The course is becoming more and more appealing as I continue my research on it. Is it beneficial to take the language option or would the BIS be better?
