BMW - towing eye

    Hi

    I'm having trouble finding a competitively priced front bumper towing eye for a BMW 3 Series F30
    I got a price form the main dealer; which in my eyes is a small bit strong at €83

    I don't mind paying for something but this feels like a complete extortion!

    The car colour is black (met) and part code is 51117293116

    If someone could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it

    OP is the dealer providing a painted part? I would imaging that it is not a painted part to be honest... although that price seems rich if it's not painted.

    If it is painted then it might be worth it. Otherwise you could look to ebay:

    If you are not in a hurry, try www.wish.com I got a cover from them, black painted as standard ( but not metallic ) cost about €10.00 inc postage. Fits fine on the car. Go on their web site, and enter the search box with "BMW Towing Eye Cover" and you will see what's available. Make sure that you enter the type BMW you need it for.

    Amazing. A Toyota Dealer popped one off a car (which they owned) and gave it to my dad. Was a different color which required paining but I'm not sure was it free or at worst a 10er but I'm fairly confident he got it for free
