Zero Discharge Willow Bed Treatment System

Just curious if anybody on here has used or is intending on using a Zero discharge willow bed system for sites with poor permeability?

I would also be very interested in knowing the background of why the system was chosen (probably as a result of a failed site test) and if it was acceptable to local councils, and which councils.

I am in south county Wexford where a trial was done on this system type at 12 sites in 2011 and the results seemed encouraging in 2011 but I am not sure what has happened since or if Wexford County council is accepting of such systems.

I accept that not all sites are suitable for building, but there is a substantial amount of Co Wexford with poor permeability soil including my own site so I am looking at options in advance. FYI - no T test done yet, but I would expect it to fail based on a trial hole dug. In this case the site is by no means a wet one, but the soil is typical of the area, poor. There is already development in the area but I will be facing stricter regulations in 2018 than those built a few years back.

    Thanks in advance

p.s. apologies if there is already a thread on this, I could not find one with a search.
