.....that serious food challenge muncher is struggling to find any more food challenges in Ireland according to his Facebook page. There I was chowin away on a large Big Mac Meal, extra fries and a chocolate Donut, when up his dilemma pops on my feed. Obviously he'd slaughter what I had in about 2 minutes while I felt like a fatted calf after 10 minutes. Probably be hungry later though as is always the case with Micky D's.:D

I only ever tried one food challenge many moons ago and that was the Harry Ramsden's challenge when they had a restaurant on the Naas Road. I finished it after a mighty struggle and felt utterly **** after it.

So is the food challenge a thing of the past in the apparently wealthier Ireland? Are we being conditioned to eat healthier, thereby killing off the mega meal challenge in our bars and eateries? I think it's still a good gimmick, but it does look like it's not so popular.

Big Jack was a fan of the Harry challenge. Roy Keane was a bit less enthusiastic.

Those were innocent times compared to some of the stuff going on nowadays. This eating challenge thing has become very mainstream across the net, but Ireland doesn't appear to be playing the game too much.

I was there in August I finished the quadruple bypass burger with fries it was the hardest thing I ever had to do food wise but you get spanked infront of a full restaurant of Americans so I said I will die before I let that happen and I done it somehow.

There is an apache pizza near everyone these days try to eat the 2 foot pizza to yourself that is a good food challenge I've tried can only get 9/14 slices.
No messing round with thin bases either normal base with atleast 3 toppings and see how you get on:) if you can do it you should be doing food challenges.
I aim to try it again I won't be happy till i do it:)
