NPPR / CGT query

Hi, can anyone clarify is CGT will apply in the following scenario.

I am currently trying to sell two houses which we own. House A we bought in 2009 and lived in until 2015. Then in 2015 we bought house B, which we moved into. At that point we also rented out house A.
If we sell today, house A will make a small loss from what we paid in 2009, while house B will make a small gain.

    A few questions:
Which house would be classed as our principal residence?
Would we be subject to CGT on property B?
Would NPPR charges apply to either of the houses in this case?

FYI, LPT has been paid on both properties since it was established.

I'd be interested to hear some one else's view as I am currently getting conflicting messages from different sources??

    Cheers.

House b is your ppr from the time you rented out house a

There is no cgt on house b

Nppr did not exist in 2015 so it is not relevant

The NPPR charge was payable for years 2009 - 2013.
