    Hi

We are getting married early August 2018 and are looking to hire a wedding camper van, the ones that hold about 8 people. It is for the bridesmaids and groomsmen after the church as the church is 1 hour from the reception hotel.

If anybody knows if one or companies who hire them out could you send me a PM please?

    Wedding is in Kerry.

Im guessing this is some kind of specially fitted out vehicle for an occasion sort of like a "party bus" going to a hens or something but I havent heard of these for a wedding as Id guess the business opportunities might be limited, most people would drive from their house to the church and then onto hotel, could only see it being a thing if all wedding party were in the hotel before the church, whereabouts did you hear this was a thing?

Haven't seen a camper van, but we had a vintage bus that seated 12 (our wedding party was 10 including us!) if that was to your tastes/ style.. Google lawler chauffeur services Dublin. They do travel as our wedding was in the west! Its super cute and Richard was so nice!

Ive seen this done in kerry too once. what sort of madness is it that you would drive around in a camper van unbelted with 8 of your most cared for people.
if someone asked me to sit in a camper unbelted id be telling them where to go.

You have to have belts for the passengers when travelling. The amount of seat belts don't always match the seats but you can only travel with passengers in seat belt equipped seats.

OP August is peak rental time for campervans and you'll be extremely lucky to get one for less than a week.

I don't think this applies if the vehicle predates seatbelts!

I think it does, if you are renting out the vehicle. You have to get seat belts retrofitted.

Some car dealers hire out minibuses but you would need a driver yourself, or there are also some wdding car crowds with mnibusses we've a mini bus hired from a crowd in cork for our wedding. East Cork wedding cars is the name i think
