    Apologies if this has already been posted but would anyone know of a good source which simplifies exactly how a couple would go about applying for the first time buyer incentive

    The help to buy? Easiest thing to do is log onto the online revenue portal and follow their instructions. It's pretty straightforward.
    Just FYI this will only apply to newly-built houses.

    Keep in mind that the FTB grant ended years ago.

    The current initiative is known as Help To Buy and applies only to new builds.

    Does anyone know how this works with self build when your not getting a contractor in but are getting different people ie bricklayers electrician etc
