    Should the clutch prevent mf 165 lift arms going up?
    I don't remember the tractor doing this before? clutch and hydraulics done up and has done this since??

    AFAIK fully pressing down the clutch pedal disengages the hydraulic pump for the lift as well as the PTO. Clutch pedal pressed half way down is for drive line for the road wheels.

    That's for a live PTO clutch, possibly different for an independent PTO.

    It used to stop the lift arms of fully pressed down. An inch up and then the arms would go up.
