    I'm trying to close my Irish water account (we moved to country side with private well) over the phone, but this is imposible.

    Every time i spend 20-30 min on hold and nobody is answering.

    Can somebody help me on this?

    Hi Irish Water,

    I have a commercial water account fully paid up to date per current billed quarter.

    It is for a property that has recent approval by the local cc (DLRCOCO) for change of use from commercial to residential use. This property has now been sold to a 3rd party for future residential use, handover date to the new owner is to be Friday 15th June. 

    My goal is to have IW issue me with a final commercial water bill up to & including that handover date of 15th June 2018 - that final bill however must be discharged in advance by me (asap, this week ideally) so that the legal paperwork for the property handover can be completed correctly. I need to prove that I am paid up and in a position to complete the sale to the new owner. (As the bill is normally paid quarterly, I am happy to discharge to that future date if necessary)

    The new owner must assume responsibility for the service on Friday 15th June (I assume thereafter they will need to revert the type of service from Commercial to Domestic service)


    Can you assist me please?
