Starter solenoid problem.

I have a problem with the solenoid for the starter motor on a 2008 Lancer 1.5 petrol. I previously had it sorted by a specialist but now it's acting up again and I'm having problems starting the car, generally a few taps on it gets the car started but that is far from ideal. I got stuck out in the lashing rain yesterday evening with it and eventually got it going. The actual starter motor is ok.
I couldn't get a definitive answer on whether I can get an OEM solenoid for it and swap it out so maybe someone here can help.

It could also be the brushes in the Starter Motor itself.

I had that checked too and it's fine, generally 3 or 4 hard taps on the solenoid itself 'unsticks' it and the car starts.

Problem solved, found a connection was corroded and not carrying current properly.
