The Dell is expensive, they are cheaper and better from Dell directly:

The one for 679 is better in almost every way:
    Better processor
Has an SSD as well as a 1TB drive

I'd have that Dell over the Acer too.

It stands for Solid State Drive. It is like a hard disk, but with no moving parts. It is incredibly fast and means that your computer will turn on in seconds and applications will open almost instantly. It will likely make the computer seem 10 times faster than the model without it.

The one I linked also has a hard disk, which is where you can store photos/movies/docs etc etc.

Do not buy Acer, bro. You will tear your hair out in clumps owning one of those puppies.

acer at the mid-range are fine and high-end are good.
budget acer laptops used to be terrible (signs that they may have improved).

e.g this one gets good ratings in the press and on review sites/ youtube for £620 sterling.
for 700 euro or so hard to match the spec

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-i5-8250U-GeForce-E5-576G-5762/dp/B075FLBJV7/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524066208&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=acer+5+mx150

    4-core i5
mx 150 so pretty ok gaming on modern titles possible
256gb ssd and space for a second hdd in the laptop
    1080p screen 15.6
