Not sure of what is meant but if feeling depressed or in any way vulnerable, please do contact Pieta House.

He posted here. Best of luck gr8 m8. Can't offer you any real advice other than talk to someone.

This is something that happened to me only last summer. I was driving along a quiet road near us. There was this guy, maybe late 60s or so. he was working in the area. I saluted him the first day. The second day we got talking. Turned out he had worked with an older relative of mine. I passed a comment about how easy going he was. 'God, if everyone was as easy going, we'd be a lot better off'. He then went on to tell me about his nephew and godson and how things had ended up badly over something silly. And it was silly. He was ashamed to talk to anyone about it, apart from him. Things ended the day before he was due in court.
We were both just leaning in over a gate and he was telling me all this, a complete stranger. All I could do was listen but I was glad to do so. It was heartbreaking listening to the story, but I'm sure he lightened his load some bit by talking to someone. Take care......

Mod note: Hi folks, I think we'll close this one down as the discussion is better carried out in the thread linked to by Patsy above.

    Thanks in advance,
