Doing a bathroom refurbishment soon and putting new shower in.At the moment have a triton martinique that Is being fed from the tank in the attic.Have been told I need a electric pump shower but I want to use a triton aspirante as the one I have now isn’t a pump shower and works fine.Am I right in thinking the aspirante shower will work ok?Only buying this shower because it’s cheaper and better looking, but haven’t bought yet.

Your existing triton shower must be fed be the mains going into the tank rat than the tank tank itself. The only way a mains fed shower will work off the tank is if the tank is 4 or 5 stories above it. I'm guessing this is why you were told that you need a tank fed shower.

The triton t90sr comes in satin & is a tank fed shower. Downside is that it cost 100 euro extra just for the colour. Plus side is that it's a very quiet shower

Thanks for reply sleeper was hoping it would be you,if my existing shower is being fed from the mains going in to the tank will it mean the triton aspirante will work because it’s mains fed shower

Yes if your existing shower works then the aspirante should work too. The only problem you could face in the future is if the mains pressure drops off then you won't get hot water. This happened to a lot of showers in Dublin after the snow. Irish water reduced the pressure & several clients had no shower for a few weeks.

You need to be careful buying triton shower from any UK company even if they have branches here. B&Q, homebase, argus & even Screwfix.ie in most cases they sell triton showers intended for the UK market. The agents here don't import them & make no profit on them so they have no warranty here. They will be cheaper but they will have no warranty. You can decide yourself what to do. Peace of mind with 2 years warranty or save money on the purchase.

Yes but if the mains supply is take from the mains suppling the tank then it's not a problem to change it to tank fed
