Hi, I hope that someone can help me.
My brother has this box - a number of free-to-air uk satellite channels are missing (eg: Vintage tv) so I tried a factory reset and a new installation but they're still missing.
He seems to be missing some TPs, but as you will see from the attached photo I don't know where the option is to add them?
    Ant help is much appreciated.

You need to select 'All'. That will tune in both terrestrial and satellite channels.

This is from Vintage tv site.....
The Vintage TV transponder information is: frequency 11264, polarisation horizontal or auto, symbol rate 27500, FEC 2/3.
    ....

Firstly, change Installation Type to DVB-S, for satellite tuning.

I don't know if the options below then change, it's been so so long since I had the displeasure of working with one of these.

Ideally, you'd probably want an option for Network scan or NIT scan, to add the extra transponders automatically.

I tried that but there are still channels missing.

Go into manual search and type in what I put in above.

Maybe try to delete the old satellite frequencies first & then retune the channels again with the new frequency.

There is a video on YouTube, search for TRIAX tsc114, it shows how to add transponders.

Thanks to all for your help. I got this sorted today. What an awful box though. You’d really need to know your stuff.

Tsc114 is the second worst pile of **** ever made. The older model st hd 537 was worse. Into the bin, life is too short

    Lads,

Any idea how to fix the LCN issue ? I had to do a rescan today and now some of the channels are not in correct order.

    Thanks,
    GLCC.

U need to turn off the lcn mode before u scan the box u can then put the channels in any order you want... however if you do this after u already tuned the box all the channels will be deleted and you will have to start again.

Anyone able to suggest a fix for my problem?

Had all channels installed and saved. Last week I went to watch something on Channel 5 and the station was blank. Same for all the 5 channels. I did a new scan and the channels didn't show in list at all. Then did factory reset which fixed the problem for a couple of days.

I've repeated the first fix to no avail. I've even tried a manual scan on the transponder frequency but I'm getting no signal. A good few channels missing now. I seem to have all the BBC and ITV channels but no 5 ones and some of the Channel 4 channels.

    Any thoughts?

whats your signal strength & quality for these particular channels...when you had them before did they break up during wet weather?

it could be your LNB skew (go to 1.10 on this video)

Before the issue Signal strength was around 70% and quality up around 90% I believe. No issues during bad weather and HD quality on relevant channels.

When the problem arose signal strength and quality are both 0%.

I'm only getting about 124 channels as opposed to 230+.

Are you missing Film4, & all the Quest channels? You probably don't have any horizontal pol. channels, maybe due to voltage drop on the cable, or receiver or LNB fault, possibly from water ingress.

Yes, I'm missing those channels too.

I was meant to say I've tried another box, the HD534 and its the same issue.

Do I need to redo the connection on the lnb or replace it altogether? The 114 box has been tried on another sat and is working normally.

Yeah, it's a case of looking at the cable & connections, &/or the LNB itself. The connections I suppose would be the place to start, & see if water has got into the cable.
