Petrol estate suggestions

    Friend of mine is looking for something nice to ferry his wife , 2 small kids and a doggy around ..

    Criteria are as follows..
    Petrol preferably
    Estate preferably
    2 to 2.5 litre
    Budget 2-4K maybe stretch a little more for the right car ..

    Was thinking E class estate , or Volvo V70.
    Any input gratefully appreciated!
