How much to insulate box room?

    Currently decorating the box room and was considering getting the two external walls done with insulated plasterboard & re-skimmed.

    Problem is one of the walls has a window & rad on it. I’m guessing the rad would need to be taken off & refitted??

    Any ideas on a rough cost?

    Also. This room is over the front door. I’ll be laying a new floor and will be able to lift the chipboard one that’s there. Would it be advisable to put some attic insulation in the joists? Would that improve things?

    I done something similar at christmas. cosy boarded the two external walls including around the windows too done it all myself including new radiator door frame and door for about €500 quid.

    But if you had to pay someone you should allow arkund €1500 i think
