Sun shades Seat Ateca

Ok going on a road trip soon with junior in the back.

Looking for recommendations for sun blinds for the windows in the back of Seat Aeca . So many to choose from looking at Amazon, just looking for recommendations. Saw the official ones and they are close to €80 any other decent ones that can keep out the sun

If your gonna spend 80 on shades you
Could Get the windows tinted?
Be around 200-300 euro I’d say?
Much better job and the car will be a better place to be if we do get sunshine :-)

The problem with them is that the light is guaranteed to sneak in the bit not covered. Sun socks cover the whole window so no light can sneak past. This is generic but there are ones designed for each car.

however looks like the window is broken and not sure if driving on the motorway.

May look at the official ones but those on https://www.carshades.co.uk/ not cheaper,going to check what price Seat can give me

We've used the generic and proper fitted socks on a few cars and no bother on motorways. The generic took a tiny bit of fitting but took only a few minutes if not less to ensure nothing could flap in the airflow.

Just don't leave them on if parking in the rain, it's possible for water to seep through if heavy enough.

Ok seems easy enough

Micks Garage seem to be the cheapest but you cannot collect they only deliver.

May well order and try to fit myself

I have those carshades.co.uk ones on my qashqai.

There very handy and because they're not actually stuck to the windows you can open the glass and the shade stays there. Handy for keeping out bugs.

Got a quote from Seat and it was €400 so don’t know what shades they are putting on possible gold ones……..:D

Don’t really want to get them tinted as the shades can be removed and for the amount of Sun we get in this country not really worth it. The official ones over on Micks Garage look the best. You have to order online as I rang them to see if I could collect them but no. Sure with the hot weather we are due to get this week I can test them out……….he waits patiently:cool:
