What two points on the island of ireland are furthest from each other by road? (According to Google Maps) not including off-shore islands obviously!

There are some journeys along winding pot holed roads that feel a lot longer than that I can assure you

It's now known that it's not actually Mizen but Brow Head that's the furthest point South.A good one but the longest journey within a county is in Cork from Youghal to Allihies which takes 3 hours and is 191km.

Circumnavigating the coast would be the longest route, I’d say. Ie start off in, say, Dublin, and drive along the entire coast such that you finish arriving in Dublin from the opposite direction

Surely any two points; even those who appear side-by-side town/village -wise on any map as the driver determines the route...So you could just keep on driving in and out of; and up and down every road (except cul-de-sac's) and you'll eventually tire.

    Thanks,
