Current thinking in psychology/psychotherapy & training recommendations?

I studied psychology and philosophy at B.A. level a long time ago. (I sub-subsequently studied art history and worked in film and photography)

    I’m Dublin-based, in my late 50s.

I’m considering returning to education in the area of psychotherapy.

What are the dominant schools of thought in psychotherapy now?

How are the theories of Viktor Frankl, whose writings interest me, viewed now?

What is on offer in terms of training in Dublin?

Of those courses, what might people recommend?

    Thanks.

    D.
