What are the celebrations like these days? I'm in my forties and at the stage where I don't do anything special to mark the day any more, too lazy I guess, but it does make my day when friends remember and call or e-mail

Funnily enough, I had a friend call me yesterday to say Happy Birthday, when it was really a few weeks ago... she ALWAYS misremembers the actual date, but it's great for a nice surprise and an impromptu chat, which we don't do enough of...
