I see halfords in Galway are selling Valeo pads.

Has anyone ever use this brand?

Valeo is an original equipment supplier to car manufacturers. That’s not to say the pads they sell in Halfords are the exact same as what they might supply a manufacturer, but they’re not a fly by night operation or anything.

I think the factory in Galway is to do with autonomous cars.

The new JLR place in Shannon is to do with that too AFAIK.

I believe they focus on cameras in the Galway site (pardon the pun :o ) which could be used for autonomous cars. The JLR centre in Shannon would be more focused on the software side.

But, as you say, Valeo make lots of OE parts for big brands and would be a reputable brand.
