Look for an idea to improve plumbing to gain space

Hi all,
i know it might not look like much but it would be great if I could reduce the space (height and length) of the waste pipes I have under the sink.

I thought about some sort of flex pipe for the waste but I am not sure this is good enough.

What is your views?

Only option is a new sink from IKEA, their under sink drain kit is the best one I have seen. Really tidy.



you can rotate and push it back to the rear or side of the cabinet

thank you. After looking at option to customise and make my own trap, I think I will go with the IKEA one. Just need to make sure it can adapt to my sink.

The diameter of the ikea waste trap does not look 1 1/2 inch.Why not fit a shelf 1/2 inch below the waste trap on the right and cut a slot for the waste trap on the left and slide it in

It is possible to get a different waste kit got the sink you have
Try noyeks or somewhere like that I think B&Q possibly do one

The sink needs a 90mm outlet. You can cut the one you have or by another sink.

The IKEA one is inch and a half at the end.

Thank you. I want to use the space for a Water filtering system. But be able to easily access the plumbing in the back in case I need to do so. Currently its a bit messy when I look at it.

This looks quite clean and the trap would sit in the far back... Do you know where I could get this from?

Yes. I am also considering changing the sink altogether. I was going to go for the IKEA Double bowl sink in black, but I am not sure how good they are in regards to scratching (since their black)... So I am looking around. I know FRANKE sink are suppose to be good quality.
