    Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been done to death..
In the market for a smart TV(preferably running on android platform) with dual sattelite receivers and a terrestrial receiver.
I want to get rid of off my out boards like amiko and roku etc..

Crucially the tv would have to have seamless contiguous switching between the terrestrial inputs and the sattelite inputs the way the amiko box can..(as in channel 6 is RTE News Now from saoirview and channel 7 is BBC1 from sattelite.

Is this available or is it still messy flipping between sources..

I was looking around about 4 years ago and there wasn’t quite the solutions out there yet..

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks all

A tv with dual satellite tuners is rare and expensive.
A quick google brought up android 4k tvs for about €300. It seems they have one terrestrial and one satellite tuner.

Changing between tuners seems to tedious on most of these tvs.

Yes, what you're asking for just doesn't exist. The higher end Samsung TVs will have dual satellite inputs, but none run Android or have a combined EPG. You'll have to have a compromise somewhere.

    Ah thanks,
It’s a pity. I’ll stick with the amiko so

Higher end Sonys have twin sat, terrestrial and Android but switching is a PITA

    Thanks all,
It’s a bit odd that nobody has put these things together gracefully

It's a question of markets. Most countries use 1 specific system. Even in Uk, Freesat was intended mainly to fill in areas that can't access Freeview. The idea of needing both together just doesn't seem to be necessary.
