Notice of Amended Assessment? HRI Credit

    Hi
    I am a PAYE earner with a small rental income and file a Form 11 Electronically every year.
    I just got a Notice of Amended Assessment for 2016 saying I owe 395 Euro!
    I figured out this out to be HRI I claimed for works I had done in December 2016. Tax credit is for 790 Euro and I understand I have to claim this over 2 years.
    Is the reason I got this Notice because I need to wait until my 2017 and 2018 tax returns to make this claim?
    I have claimed correctly through my ROS account, I just double checked

    most probably there is a miscalculation by your employet when doing your payroll. when you requested the additional credit revenue calculated your taxes again and discovered you owe money.

    Thanks Ciaran.... that was my mistake
    To make this payment can anyone advise me which payment type I use in ROS?
     i.e. Audit, Income Tax etc.
