Wondering if anyone has knowledge of creating a map in google maps and then putting it on their website. I would need to enter approximately 200 individual locations / sites on it as well as text about each location. Can i do all this free? Thanks for any info anyone can give me

Yes, you can do it for free. You need a Google Maps API key.

Then start reading and experimenting with the Google Maps tutorials.
