AIr in water system after plumber fixed ball-cock in attic tank

Recently a plumber fixed a faulty ball cock in the attic tank (there was water overflowing out the overflow pipe)
But since then there seems to be air in the system when toilets are filling up and taps are on. Is more noticeable when pump kick in and hot/cold mixer taps are on.
Is there an easy way of bleeding the system?

Those two things are unlikely to be connected as he would not have had to empty the tank to replace the ballcock. You might have another job for him.
What is happening that prompts you to say it's air in the system?

when the mixer taps are on it sounds like sputter in the pipes as the water is coming, like the pressure is up/down for split seconds. Similar in the toilet as it fills.
