    Hi
I am at wits end - I have two boilers - installed in 2010 -

over five/eighth visits the plumber keeps saying there is something else wrong and I have to go order new parts - He say the guy in chadwicks is an idiot and never orders the parts he wants so i have been getting genuine parts from the uk. I have ordered part on six separate occasions.

Since December the labor alone is 1300euro (parts about 600 euro)and still he is coming back, now he says one boiler needs replacing.

    In 2015
I spend 1500euro in 2015 servicing them and bring them up to condition. I suggested replacing them before he started. He said he would not recommend changing the boiler which he wants to replace now.

In march he said there was not enough gas pressure and was suggesting replacing all the pipes into the building (under the tiled path floors etc) Turns out it needed a 6 euro part with i bought just in case (based on recommendation from the manual)

I asked for the optimum/recommended 02 levels for a combi boiler in the exhaust and he said he did not know.

Questions 1 does anyone know what are the recommended exhaust 02 levels for a combi boiler

Question 2: Am I been screwed or is it possible he does not know what he is doing of is this normal?

Sounds like you need to get a new RGI, based on that line alone.
Manufacturers of high efficiency boilers will state in the manual what the outputs for C.o.2 and max C.O. should be. The RGI must check this reference when servicing the boiler using a Flue Gas Analyser.

Your new RGI will know that.
