If the colour you like is a metallic paint then just go for it. Pick a colour that you want and like. Do not worry if it is metallic or not. It does not make a whole lot of difference in a few years when you go to change it. What matters is the colour of the car. A red, silver, black or blue car for instance will hold its value a lot better than a yellow or green one because there is less demand and less people looking for a car in them two colours.

Do you own a 3008 Peugeot new type,if so have you had any problems with it, in particular electronic/electrical ones .?

Financially no benefit as in x years time 2 identical cars with and without paint will be priced the same.

It's a good upsell for the manufacturer and if you really love the colour and have the cash go for it.

Citroen, Peugeot and Renault have all upped there quality and build significantly in the decade or so. This is far less of an issue now than in the past. You would probably have more trouble with a German made car now than a french one.

You do realise it was 7 months ago she asked this. I would say she either has her new 3008 a few months at the very least or decided on a different make. The 3008 really is the best in its class do.

Had lots of electrical problems with a new C5, would like to hear from 3008 owners.

I bought a new 3008 in July and so far so good. No electrical problems. It really is a lovely car.

Good to hear, did you get the auto gearbox? 1.2 petrol, or diesel one?

Manual gears, 1.2 petrol. I don't do much long driving so they recommended the petrol.
