Can't find in hardware shops

I have been hunting for two things that I thought I would find easily: yet, it is not so.

The first is cork tiles, a few thin cork tiles like some I had before: I think we got them from Woodies but they don't stock them anymore.
Also looked in B&Q - a vast place out by Liffey Valley - and they don't carry them either.

The other thing is Broom Brackets: these are that little socket thing that you use for attaching the handle of a broom or a yard brush to the head, when they come off - which they invariably do.
In fairness, I have never seen these in an Irish shop, but it seems like such an easy repair item! Much stronger than the traditional nail-driven-in-at-a-slant which always goes wobbly and rotten and falls out.

So, all you bright DIY-ers: where can I find cork tiles? and has anyone ever seen the broom sockets?

    Waiting in hope :-)

I bought cork tiles in Woodies Glasnevin the autumn just gone. Also available in Lenehans on Capel St for sure.

I'd be surprised if Lenehan's didn't do broom brackets either. I think it's a great shop and one place I really don't mind paying bricks and mortar shop prices.

Those "broom brackets" are easily available for the large "Yard brush" but I haven't seen them for ordinary household sweeping brushed.

Try eBay, all forms of life are there!

    Edit.
