Why is a disconnected phoneline still in my hunting group?

    Hi,

I had 3 phonelines with Eir when I took over the premises. I cancelled 1 line, and then moved my landline service to Vodafone. I didn't bother telling them about the 3rd line because I figured it was to be cancelled and therefore disconnected in the next few days anyway.

However, Eir didn't get around to cancelling the line before porting occurred and all 3 lines came over to Vodafone. Recently the line finally disconnected. Now when people call my main number, every 3rd call doesn't reach my PBX system but seems like it's ringing out for the customer. How is this possible?

At a guess there's a vestigial config in the Vodafone voice switch. Their business support teams should be able to track it down.
