With treatment, is the prognosis good? Can a person recover from it fully?

The prognosis really depends on the patient. Yes, a person can recover from it completely, but humans aren’t computers that need a quick fix patch - the road to recovery can be a daunting one.

I’m not a doctor, and even if I was, I would still say that the patient needs to talk to the doctor.

However, if this is just a very general enquiry, I would highly recommend reading information booklets that can be found on the Irish cancer society website, or for a second opinion, the Macmillan cancer support website.

Stage 2 is completely treatable with great results. The treatment plan will be recommended by your oncology team.
If it gets to 2b it becomes more complicated as lymph nodes are involved, but still treatable.
