I am about to start into a conversion project on a high roof long wheelbase transit.
What is the very minimum required to get it classified and vrt'd as a camper,?

I was thinking I'd get it classified, registered and vrt paid and then do a nice job on it.

Do you have to take out the double passengers seat?

Not for vrt or classification, you will have a harder time insuring it without access from the cab to the rear.

Initially I won't to get it sorted for classification and vrt. And then take it from there.

    What else is needed
Somewhere to sleep, eat and a cooker?
