I have a mk1 iPad mini and both chrome and safari are constantly crashing usually when I'm in pages with loads of ads. Pretty sure it's a ram issue, is there anyway around this, I.e. Any other browsers worth trying? No other tabs opened, no cookies, website data, history etc, all cleared.

Try turn off JavaScript in settings. Or if possible add blockers.

Opera mini - afaik it still compresses websites so they use less memory/data.
