Hi there. I reversed into a car today. Not sure what make and model or year even. The poor lady I banged into was really nice. I was just wondering if anyone would have a rough idea of how much the damage in the photo I’m showing should cost to fix.

    Thanks

Bodywork is always a hard one to call as quality of work as well as overheads can vary so much.

For a decent job I wouldn't expect change from €500 IMO.

Depends on car and damage. Hard to tell from pic. If the metal is creased then generally it's a new door and respray which is 800 to 1100.

If it's just very slightly knocked then a bit less. It would have to be quite an old car or minor damage not to warrant a new door.

Black is a good colour so you may get away with 6-700 for a good repair in Connacht, if your on the east coast i would say 1k

Doesn't seem unreasonable really. Have you agreed?

    That seems about right.
(At a guess I'd say that may be a Toyota Auris door not that it makes any difference)

I'd say there is definitely a dent there
