The dog who is thought to have contracted it in Massey woods was treated at UCD in February of 2017 and diagnosed by post mortem in that March. No other cases have been reported in the South since then

The dog in the North hasn't been confirmed as CRGN/Alabama Rot by post mortem yet as far I know it's a presumptive diagnosis currently

I believe the only other case reported was in Co Down.

I came across it years ago while in the States so was surprised when I came across the headline that it was reported to have ‘hit’ Dublin, then again I know there have several cases reported in the UK, so it’s possible that if someone had taken their dog with them on holidays in the UK then it was probable.

I keep an eye on the vets4pets location map.
