Confused over P45 situation

I started a new job recently. My first and only shift was 4 hours. After that shift I quit and told my employer I wont be coming back.

I have just received my P45 from that employer but the thing is I haven't registered the employment with revenue because it was only my first day and I quit after it.

Do I now give this P45 for a job I never registered to my new future employer or the old P45 I had before i started this job?

    I would give both.

Does your new p45 include the details of pay from previous job as well?

You generally are not required to register it yourself, but you might want to check with Revenue if all tax credits are assigned correctly.

    You can do it online.

This is a good idea to log on and check that your tax credits are assigned to your new job.

Log on to Revenue and add this income.

Strange that it is blank, but since you left the job so quickly there was probably no time for them to get the details.

Or use the old p45 and deal with it later.
