How can a 22kW battery have a range of 186 miles.

My 24kW leaf, likely with 22 usable, has a range of 65 miles.

Yeah I noticed that. The article had a few inaccuracies - the battery is 50kW.

    Misread the graphic in OP.

It weighs about half as much as the Leaf, so should be able to go a lot further with the same amount of energy. 300km with 22 kWh on the NEDC cycle sounds about right.

In motorway driving the mass is not as significant in establishing range as many think...

kW is not a unit of energy (and battery capacity), but power.

The NEDC extra-urban cycle includes an entire 10 seconds of motorway driving speeds (120 km/h), so probably doesn't matter much if that's what their "unofficial in-house testing" is based on.
