Repair of battery/power issue kids ride on car

Sorry this probably doesn't fit right in the forum but can't find anywhere better suited. Have a kids ride on car with 12v battery which seems not to be charging up at all, or else isn't connecting with the controller. Didn't get much use before it packed it in. Anyone know where I might get it repaired? Thanks.
