WTD Cables and housing

    After just forking out another e40 for cables and housing, 5 weeks after installing new ones, I can no longer justify forking out for them. I can do them myself and used to do it in the USA, anyone have any suggestions for the best place to buy good quality cable and housing? Dura ace and ultegra, thanks.

    5 weeks ! Thats mad.........surely there is something else wrong, or there was an issue with the way they were previously installed. There are lots of non-OEM cable/housing options for you to choose from. You LBS should be able to supply all of the parts, including ferrules etc

    Yeah, I think the housing is not put on correctly, but now its done again, if this starts acting up, I'll just do it myself.

    any Shimano Service Centre bike shop will carry a stock of Shimano inner and outer cables etc

    Chain reaction sell shimano gear and brake inners and outers at very reasonable prices.
