    Hey.

Noticed in bdgp genomics test that a few 5 star heifers I sold are now owned by a ir155xxx herd number and owner being ieireland 155xxx

Anyone come across this or is it that they have been exported possibly.

    Cheers

I'm a bit confused with your IR part. Is there a letter in front of a 7 digit number similar to your own herd number. Was it on the ICBF site you got it?

Only guessing but it could be a new entrant/flock no/poultry no who has just got into cattle.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Yeah, it's icbf genomics section. Sold 6 heifers, 3 went to farmers with standard herd numbers and their names are also listed.
These other 3 are now owned as listed- like its part of trial/ research farm. The xxx I put in are also numbers but didn't want to be disclosing full info.

Interesting! You must be part of herdplus to access that are you? I can't see anywhere to get that sort of info here.

Yeah. In herd plus, go to services tab. There is then a genomic services option on the pdm. Any animals that have been tested will be listed and if any have been sold, it will show who now owns them.

    Iv had this always.
