If I have a folio number, how do I find out who owns that land?

Do I need to go through a solicitor?

    I was on there.
If I buy it for €5, will it tell me who owns it though?

Yes it will. Immediate delivery of folio via email too. It will give name and address however sometimes address can be care of a solicitor.
