Advice needed

    Hi all

Have a bit of a problem. I threatened to hit a man with my fist in there face after I found out that they threatened to hit my wife the night before.
I didn't make any physical contact to him just the threat.

So today the guards ring me and say that he is afraid for his life and that he wants to make a statement again me.
I am in a job in the security sector in a worldwide company and I'm worried that if he makes a statement I may loose my job and I have a mortgage to repay.
I am going into the guards tomorrow for a chat and to see if it can be resolved without the messy side but if he does make the statement should I report him for selling morphine to local scumbags.

I'd rather just get it done under the table and never think about it again

A threat is an assault, you need to try an contain your temper, I know how hard it is. Personally I'd consult with a solicitor.

Has your wife made a complaint to guards about his threat to her? Maybe something to consider doing.

Not yet we are going to go the guards tomorrow and if he is going ahead with his statement she will put in a statement also.

I don't understand why it's wrong for a man to protect his wife in this day and age.

What not start off remedying your lack of understanding by copping on that you threatened him with physical violence, which has consequences.

He may have behaved like a dick, but you are doing exactly the same.

    Mod:

If you have legal queries, you can hire a solicitor.

Please don't open any more new threads looking for advice in this forum.

You should know better than to take the bait.
