Howdy, is there any easy to follow guide to setup openelec/tvheadend?

Have a windows 7 based pc with twin satellite tuner in it but have found the tuners go missing in windows, and this has happened on two different pcs so thought I would try out openelec/tvheadend, as it was suggested previously that it may be a windows issue.

If anybody has any suggestions for a simple guide for somebody with no Linux experience to set this up, other than the guide on the openelec site? Ideally it will be the server and also the client, with the option for clients on other laptops or PCs in the house.
Also some guidance on getting an EPG up and running would be great!

In the first instance I suggest you use LibreElec and not Openelec.
Tvheadend is set up in a similar manner in all operating systems.

In LE you install Add-ons from the LibreElec Repository for both
    tvheadend server and tvheadend client.

When you log into tvheadend from a PC on the LAN, if you have an up-to-date version of tvheadend installed (4.2 I think) then you will get a Wizard pop up which guides you through the most of the process.

The Help menu on each page is the most up-to-date info as that is where the effort has gone rather than the Wiki, I believe.
