    I'm 26 going on 27 myself, I passed my test in 2011 when I was 19 going on 20.

I'm on my second car and I've driven about 215,000 km between the two cars. For two years I had a 95 km each way commute which pushed up the number.

    What about you?

Rough guess over 18 years about 750,000,

Now if I was to guess what I spent on fuel I would probably go stare at a wall for a few hours and cry.

I kinda worked this out last year. Must have been stupendously bored. :D I came to a figure of around half a million miles in old money. Then again I've been driving on the regular since 1985-6 so that's not that high.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I have driven around 170,000kms over the last twelve years. I fly on average 3kms for every mile driven.

Hard to say as I don't know what mileage I did in the 6 months of driving as a learner but since Feb 2017 I've done about 14,000km.

Ive done 52,000km in the last twelve months, I'd roughly say about 600,000km in 12 years, I did 8000 in 12 days a few years ago in oz. I love driving

Min 800,000km since 2004. First car after college

Probably missing a nice bit as impossible to add the mileage in pool vans and many hours in machinery

Impossible for me to calculate as I'm driving something different every day. That's a lot of different vehicles since 1987.

Sounds about right! I cycle 130km a week! I suppose for me a car has never been a means of getting to work, so it gets use in the evenings and weekends. That's a decent way of keeping the mileage down. It's better for me if I don't calculate my cost per km!

I've been driving for over 25 years, and I estimate that I've probably done around 1.5 million km in that time. I've a good range of experience with my driving, having driven on 4 different continents, and having owned a large amount of different cars, from large German Saloons to high end sportscars, with a good few small engined rot boxes in between. My peak years in terms of mileage were during the boom, when I regularly covered 1,500+ km per week. In all that driving I've only had one accident, and that was a 50/50 fault wise, and happened 25 years ago shortly after I started driving. Insurance companies have made a lot of money out of me (not to mention the government on petrol duty).

18K up in this car, did 400K in the last one, 100K in the one before, 90K, 30K, 60K.

Bit rough, but about 700,000 km, say 18 times around the world, or to the Moon and back once.

I'm driving full time since 1995, my mileage hasn't changed a whole lot since then at roughly 12k miles a year, so roughly 270k miles or 420,000kms (approximately)

On average between 50-60k kms/30-35k miles a year in a variety of different cars throughout the year (mostly the Avensis and Z these days)

One week in 2015 I remember doing over 1600 miles a lot of which were on lovely little boreens and saw minimal main road or motorway use. Other times I would have been abroad and no miles up

    Full licence since 2008

So just add a zero on each annual figure above!

Total distance in ~23 years of driving is in the region of 370,000 miles.
Current driving rate is lots lower, about 150km/week.. The advantage of a minimal commute.
