Just started looking at heat recovery in my renovation and just wondering if anyone knew what the 'good' makes of HRV units are? (vent axia etc etc) Just to have in my mind when looking and pricing kits. Thanks

Have a proair unit for almost a decade now and cannot fault it. Also, I've found their after sales service to be very good too (on the very odd occasion I needed to contact them).

Why do you need a MHRV ?

What is the layout of the house ?
What kind of "ceilling" you have for the piping ?
Do you have space for the unit ?
Can you do it centralised piping, possible in technical room or in the attic ?
    Whats your budget ?
Can you see somebody else's installation before commiting ?
Are you confident in some "DIY" touches ?

I can show you my probable "best" unit purchased in Ireland and installed DIY,if you around Dublin.
