Reading glasses prescription?

    I recently got distance glasses and also a pair of reading glasses from my optician. I asked him for the prescription which he gave me.

    If I was to buy some glasses online, how do I provide a reading glasses prescription from the figures which my optician gave me. I assumed, I think wrongly, that he would give me 2 sets of figures but it seems not. Do I somehow use the ADD number which he gave me?

    While I'm here can anyone recommend a good online glasses supplier?

    You add the ADD to your distance prescription to give you your near vision number
